When there’s a will there’s a way

I unfortunately contracted Guillain-Barre Syndrome, eighteen years ago.
This horrible thing paralisers the body making one immobile and useless.
I am a very determined human being. I will never give up.
Physically, I exercise three days a week at a gym two hours away.
Mentally, I’m coping, just. Frustration and impatience are unbearable.
I needed to get outside.
Conventional rehab equipment I’ve tried, with negative results.
Coming across Out and About Healthcare Deception Bay, Queensland, on the web, has opened up a new world for me.
Having to discuss over the phone, an array of wheelchairs and carts, enlightened me.
I have ‘met’ Angela L and later, Jess.
We decided to try a 4x4 Unlimited Electric Wheelchair OB-EW-010 with balloon tyres

Wow, what a beast!!
Being a farmer, what I broke, I fixed!
I put this vehicle to work through rocks, tree limbs, sand and mud, NOT water, as the two electric motors don’t like water, up river banks, in and out of bull hoes and long grass. I could not stop it.
This machine did not faulter.
I haven’t even been to the beach yet!
Included in the sale was a racing harness. I now know why.
I’m so delighted Angela. Thank you.
You got me Out and About.

I recently purchased a pre-loved 4x4 wheelchair from this company. I can only recommend them for the service I have received. In particular I must mention Darcey Liesegang who was their representative in my dealings with them. She was professional and courteous at all times. Any queries were dealt with rapidly and her turnaround on emails was extremely impressive. This was particularly important as I live in WA, and communications have the potential to be tricky, but this has never been the case.

Tubular framework
We use Tubular Framing for our products.  The construction industry has embraced tubular framing due to its strength and flexibility.  Towering Skyscrapers are embracing the concept.  Tubular Framing advantages are;
Resistance to stress through high tensile strength, elastic and ductile function.  Will not break easily.
Resistance to shocks allowing it to withstand impact at a higher degree then other methods of framing.
Resistant to Corrosion efficaciously.
This manufacturing system is to ensure our customers have the strongest and best framing in the market place.

Australian Standards/ISO Standards (Vital for Safety)
AS/NZS3695.2:2013

Australian/NZ Safety Standards
Australian and NZ Standards are the highest in the world and only obtainable through the testing centre in Australia at time of this article.  This is an extremely expensive testing system and as such most mobility scooters and wheelchairs do not carry this classification.  We are proud to state that all our scooters and Electric Wheelchairs not only have ISO testing, but also the high standard Australian/NZ testing.  There can be nothing more important than knowing that the safest possible situation is provided for a person with a disability or aging situation.
